On Tuesday, 13 February 2024, the National Bank of Cambodia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women’s Affairs and UNESCAP, organized a training on “Digital Financial Literacy for Women Entrepreneurs” in Kampong Cham province. This training was presided over by Mr. Heng Bomakara, the 1st Deputy Director General of Banking Supervision and H.E. The Chhunhak, Director General of Gender Equality and Economic Development of Ministry of Women’s Affairs. The training was participated by resource speakers from the National Bank of Cambodia, banking and financial institution, and BanhJi FinTech Co., Ltd, with approximately 200 attendees. The purpose of the training is to promote financial and digital financial literacy for women entrepreneurs and university students, aiming at enhancing the effectiveness of their financial management and entrepreneurship. The training will be conducted in two provinces: Kampong Cham Province and Kratie Province.
