BanhJi Fintech Co., Ltd. (banhji) and the JICA Cambodia Office – JICA カンボジア事務所 signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) in partnership with the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).

To accelerate the achievement of the project’s objectives, the project is intensifying its joint research with other organizations, starting with a MoC with Credit Bureau of Cambodia (CBC) in January 2025. This MoC is the second MoC, and with BanhJi’s database based on its extensive SMEs customer base, project will enhance data-driven economic analysis and research on Khmer Riel promotion policies. Additionally, the collaboration is expected to foster the use of alternative data in monetary policy formulation and economic research at NBC.
