BanhJi Creates SME Kick-Starter Bundles with Google Cloud, offers Google Workspace to SMEs

BanhJi is offering digital financial platforms bundled with Google Workspace for SMEs in Cambodia.

Through an integration with Google Sheets, this partnership will help SMEs to improve compliance in the preparation of financial statements, and prepare customised financial reports.

BanhJi aims to improve SMEs’ ability to digitise their businesses to accelerate growth, access new markets and optimise processes.

CAMBODIA, 30 October 2023 – Award-winning fintech startup BanhJi is working with Google Cloud to create SME Kick-Starter Bundles for MSMEs in Cambodia. The SME business bundle aims to become the central operating system (OS) for all MSMEs, by offering BanhJi’s digital financial and financing platform together with Google Workspace.

Google Workspace is a productivity suite that enables organizations of all sizes including MSMEs to connect better with customers and create faster, real-time collaboration features. It includes tools like Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Meet and other applications that can help teams collaborate efficiently. For instance, the integrated search feature in Drive and Gmail makes it easier for users to find invoices, customer contacts, emails on mobile and on desktops.

“Digitisation is vital for businesses looking to stay competitive. Aligned with the Cambodia Digital Economy and Society Policy Framework, Banhji’s mission is to become the preferred business and financial operating platform for MSMEs in Cambodia. We believe that our digital financial platform paired with Google Workspace will help SMEs to automate business processes, improve compliance in the preparation of financial statements, and enhance financial and financing confidence. For instance, the integration between BanhJi Accounting Software and Google Sheets allows accountants to prepare customised financial reports and prepare the financial statements in Khmer language based on Cambodian International Financial Reporting Standards for SMEs (CIFRS for SMEs) in Google Docs with automated financial data sync from Google Sheets,” said Mr Chankiriroth Sim, Founder and CEO of BanhJi FinTech Co., Ltd.

Kiriroth continues, “Our collaboration with Google Cloud will bring together the strengths of Google Workspace, as a platform for people to connect, create and collaborate anywhere, and BanhJi, as a financial management platform with deep integration with digital financial services. This marks a new milestone for us and we look forward to giving MSMEs the right digital tools for them to grow and scale their businesses in Cambodia and the world.”

According to Google Cloud, Google Workspace has more than 3 billion active users worldwide, proving that it is a valued tool for businesses of all kinds, ranging from those that are on the Forbes Next Billion Dollar Companies list, all the way to micro businesses including freelancers, accountants and solopreneurs.

To access Google Workspace services through BanhJi, MSMEs only need to register a business account with Banhji. After successful registration, the user can select Google Workspace via the user login admin portals. For more information on the SME Kick-Starter Bundles, click on the link here
